Ali rated it it was amazing Aug 28, Although scientifically and technically thorough, the book is written in a lively style; there are summaries, explanatory illustrations photographs and diagramsanecdotes and handy tips from some of the game’s greatest players and characters. You also need to have the mental strength to stand up the opposition after all, there’s no point having the skills, technique and fitness to face a pace attack if you’re paralysed with terror when the ace on the other team bowls you a blinder!
